TL;DR: Stan Store is a shop for selling courses, coaching and digital products, and you pay for it from day one: $29 a month after a 14-day trial. Linktree is a list of links with a free plan. If you sell, Stan does more out of the box. If you mostly send people somewhere else, Linktree costs nothing. The surprise is the branding: Stan only removes its branding on Creator Pro, $99 a month, and neither tool lets you use your own domain. There’s a third option at the end if that’s what you’re after.

Where these numbers come from. Stan’s prices come from its own pricing article, and its branding, domain and fee rules from Stan’s help center, all read on 25 October 2026. Linktree’s come from its pricing page the same day. Linkie’s come from our plans page. Prices change, so check the date against today.
Stan Store vs Linktree: the short answer
Pick Stan if the point of your link in bio is to sell: a course, coaching calls, a membership, templates. Checkout, bookings, a course builder and email collection are all in the $29 plan, and Stan takes 0% of your sales.
Pick Linktree if the point is to send people to things that live somewhere else: your YouTube, your shop, your podcast. It’s free, and you can have it live in five minutes.
They overlap less than the search suggests. Stan is a store that sits in your bio. Linktree is a link page that can also sell.
What each one costs
Stan has two plans and no free one. Creator is $29 a month, or $300 a year. Creator Pro is $99 a month, or $948 a year. You get 14 days free, then you pay.
Linktree has four. Free is $0. When I checked on 25 October, Starter was $7 a month billed annually and Pro was $14, with Premium at $30. Month to month they’re $9, $17 and $35. Five days earlier, on 20 October, the same page showed Starter at $6 and Pro at $12. Either Linktree has just raised its prices or it’s testing them, and I can’t tell you which from the outside.
So the cheapest paid Stan plan costs more than any Linktree plan except Premium.

Taking the branding off costs $948 a year on Stan
This is the number most comparisons miss, because Stan’s own pricing article doesn’t put it in the list. It names nine things Creator Pro adds: discount codes, limited-quantity offers, upsells, payment plans, affiliate management, contact import, email broadcasts, email flows and pixel tracking. Removing Stan’s branding isn’t one of them.
It’s in the help center instead: “In order to remove the Stan branding from the bottom of your Stan store, you’ll need to be on our Creator Pro plan.” That’s $99 a month, or $948 a year.
On Linktree, “Remove Linktree branding” is on the Pro card, at $14 a month billed annually, so $168 a year, or $17 month to month.
$948 against $168 for a page without someone else’s name on it.

Yearly figures assume annual billing. Month to month, Stan is $348 or $1,188 a year, and Linktree Starter, Pro and Premium are $108, $204 and $420. What Linkie’s plans include is on the plans page.
Your own domain
Neither one does it.
Stan’s help center is blunt about it: “As of now, you cannot create or embed a custom domain into your Stan Store.” Your address stays stan.store/yourusername. Stan suggests forwarding a domain you own to that address, which works, but the visitor still ends up on stan.store.
Linktree is the same story. Each page is a linktr.ee/username address, and the workaround is the same forward. We went through the setup in Linktree custom domain.
What 0% fees actually means
Stan takes 0% of each sale on both plans. The card processor still takes its cut. Stan’s own help article lists Stripe in the US at 2.9% plus $0.30 per purchase, and a payout fee of 0.25% plus $0.25 per payout, with a $1 minimum. On a $50 course that’s about $1.75 to Stripe before the payout fee.
Linktree Pro also says 0%, and Linktree lists the same 2.9% plus $0.30 per purchase. What Linktree takes on Free and Starter isn’t on its pricing page, so I can’t tell you.
Stan’s own comparison table lists Linktree at “$0-50/month” with “0-12% per sale”. Linktree’s pricing page tops out at $35 a month for its listed plans, so take that table as Stan’s reading, not Linktree’s.

Where Stan is better
Selling. Courses, coaching calls, memberships, a community and digital downloads all live inside Stan on the $29 plan, with checkout built in. On Linktree you’d be stitching that together.
Fees at any size. 0% on both plans, so the $29 plan doesn’t punish you for selling a lot.
Instagram DMs. Stan AutoDM, which sends automatic replies on Instagram, is on the Creator plan. Linktree lists unlimited Instagram auto-replies on Premium, at $360 a year.
Where Linktree is better
It’s free. Stan isn’t, after two weeks.
Branding. Getting your page clean costs $168 a year on Linktree and $948 on Stan.
Setup. A Linktree is a column of buttons, live in five minutes. A Stan store asks you to build products, and it’s worth that effort only if you’ll sell them.
Where both leave a gap
I work at Linkie, so read this part knowing that.
Both tools put their own name on your page until you pay to remove it, and neither lets you use your own domain at any price. And neither keeps the page current: what’s on it is whatever you last typed in.
Linkie is built around those gaps. There’s no Linkie branding on any plan, including the free one. Your own domain, email collection, analytics and smart links are on Plus at $90 a year per page. Your latest posts can appear on your page as you publish them, through the Publer scheduler or an API, and each post can carry its own link.

Where we lose: Linkie has no checkout, no course builder and no booking calendar of its own. If you sell, Stan does things we don’t, and you’d link or embed your shop on Linkie instead. Our free plan has no analytics and no email collection, and Linktree’s free plan collects emails. And without Publer or the API, the posts won’t add themselves.
