TL;DR: If you're leaving Beacons because of the branding, Linkie removes it on every plan, free included. If you're leaving because of the 9% fee on sales, look at what you sell first: Linkie has no checkout, so a creator who sells through their page is better off on Beacons Creator Plus, Stan Store or Linktree Pro. Prices below were checked on Beacons, Linktree, Stan and Milkshake's own pages in October 2026.
I work at Linkie, so I'm biased. Everything here comes from each company's own pricing page and help centre, and I've said where Linkie loses.
Why people leave Beacons
Two reasons come up again and again, and Beacons' own pricing table explains both.
The first is branding. Removing the Beacons branding needs Creator Plus, which is $300 a year billed annually ($30 a month otherwise). The $100-a-year Creator plan doesn't remove it. Creator does give you a custom domain, so on that plan you can pay for your own domain and still show Beacons' branding on it.
The second is the fee. Beacons takes 9% of store and affiliate sales on Free and Creator, and 0% on Creator Plus and Creator Max. If you sell about $280 a month, the 9% costs you roughly what Creator Plus does ($25 a month on annual billing). Below that, the fee is cheaper than the upgrade. Above it, the upgrade pays for itself. That break-even is the number to know before you move anywhere.

Linkie: if branding is the reason you're leaving

Linkie puts no Linkie branding on any page, on any plan, including the free one. That's the whole pitch, and it's the one thing Beacons charges $300 a year for.
Plus is $9 a month or $90 a year per page. It adds your own domain or subdomain, email collection, advanced analytics and unlimited smart links (send visitors to different places by country, operating system or browser). The free plan has no analytics and no email collection, so if you need either, budget for Plus. Plans and prices.
If you schedule posts with Publer, or push them through the Linkie API with Zapier, Make or n8n, those posts can appear on your page by themselves, each with its own link. Nobody else in this table does that. How the posts feed works.
Linktree: if you want the biggest ecosystem

Linktree's free plan carries its branding. Pro removes it for $14 a month billed annually ($168 a year) and takes 0% on sales. That's a little over half of Beacons Creator Plus for the same two things. Linktree raised Starter and Pro in October 2026, so older articles quoting $144 are out of date. Linktree pricing, plan by plan.
Milkshake: if you want the cheapest branding removal

Milkshake Lite removes its branding for $2.99 a month, the lowest price for that in this table. The catch is everything else Lite doesn't include. SEO settings (title, description, favicon) start at Pro, and a custom domain needs Pro+ at $99.99 a year. Selling costs 12% on Free and Lite, which is more than Beacons charges. I couldn't get Milkshake's page to show a monthly price for Pro or Pro+, so I'm not quoting one.
Stan Store: if you mostly sell

Stan is a store first. Creator is $29 a month or $300 a year, with no free plan. It takes 0% itself, and card processing applies as usual. Two things surprise people coming from Beacons. Stan's help centre says you can't use a custom domain at all; your URL stays stan.store/yourname. And removing Stan's branding needs Creator Pro, $99 a month or $948 a year.
Where Beacons beats all of us
If you sell, Beacons is hard to leave. Creator Plus gives you 0% fees, branding removal, and a store, a media kit and DM automations in one account. Linkie can't take a payment. Milkshake charges more per sale on its cheaper plans. Stan has no free plan and no custom domain. Beacons' free plan also includes selling, which Linkie's doesn't at any price.
And if your page is a handful of links that you share with friends, the free Beacons plan is fine. Stay.
FAQ
What is the best free alternative to Beacons?
If you want a free page without someone else's branding, Linkie: the free plan carries no Linkie branding. If you need to sell from a free plan, Beacons itself is hard to beat, since its free plan includes a store at a 9% fee.
How much does it cost to remove Beacons branding?
Creator Plus, $300 a year billed annually or $30 a month. The $100-a-year Creator plan doesn't remove it.
Is there a Beacons alternative with no fees?
Linktree Pro takes 0% on sales, and so does Stan (card processing still applies on both). Linkie charges no fee because it has no checkout.
