How to embed Google Maps location
You can embed Google Maps locations in two ways:
- Copy URL from the location.
- Copy the embed HTML code from Google Maps.
To embed Google Maps locations via URL:

- Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

- To find the URL of the location, you can go to Google Maps and click on Share.
- From there choose Send a Link.
- Click on Copy link, then paste it into your browser to get the full post URL. Make sure you copy the full link, since shortened links won’t work because they don’t include the full location.
- After pasting the URL from Google Maps, click on Add embed.
- A custom feature is the "Get directions" button, which takes users directly to the location on Google Maps when clicked.
- You can always edit **on the top right corner or **remove the embedded post from your Linkie by clicking the bin icon.
- Preview it by clicking Preview on the top right corner.

Keep in mind:
- Embed cards are full width by default and cannot be resized, only the height can be adjusted.
- When embedding with HTML, avoid using event attributes like "onclick", because they rely on JavaScript, which many platforms block for security reasons.
- You can include custom HTML elements like headings. For example: <h1>Hello world</h1>
