How to embed Pinterest posts

Step-by-step guide on how to embed Pinterest posts on your Linkie profile

You can add Pinterest Pins to your Linkie profile by copying the Pin embed code from Pinterest and pasting it into an HTML Code embed card in Linkie.

Add an embed card

Open the playground, then click Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose the embed option

Choose Add an embed from the card options.

Select HTML Code

Click HTML Code.

Copy the Pinterest embed code

Open the Pinterest Pin you want to embed. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the Pin, then choose Get Pin embed code.

Choose the embed size

Choose the embed size you want to use. Select and copy the embed code, then click Got it.

Paste the code in Linkie

Go back to Linkie and paste the embed code into the HTML Code field. You can also add an optional title for tracking analytics.

When embedding with HTML, avoid using event attributes like onclick, because they rely on JavaScript, which many platforms block for security reasons.

Preview your Pinterest embed

Click Preview at the top right of the playground to see how the Pinterest Pin will look on your Linkie profile.

Things to note

  • Embed cards are full width by default. You can adjust the height, but not the width.
  • You can edit the embedded Pin from the top-right corner of the card, or remove it by clicking the bin icon.
  • You can include simple custom HTML elements, such as <h1>Hello world</h1>.
