How to embed LinkedIn posts

Step-by-step guide on how to embed LinkedIn posts

You can embed LinkedIn posts on your Linkie page by pasting the LinkedIn embed HTML code into an embed card.

Open the embed card options

Open your Linkie dashboard and click Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add an embed

From the available card options, choose Add an embed.

Select HTML Code

Click HTML Code so the code field is ready before you copy the embed code from LinkedIn.

Copy the LinkedIn embed code

Go to the LinkedIn post you want to embed, click the three dots in the top-right corner of the post, then click Embed this post.

Choose whether you want to embed the full post or a shorter version, then click Copy Code.

Paste the code into Linkie

Go back to Linkie and paste the embed code into the HTML field.

When embedding with HTML, avoid using event attributes like onclick, because they rely on JavaScript, which many platforms block for security reasons.

Preview or manage the embed

Done. Click Preview in the top-right corner to see how the embedded post will look on your Linkie page. You can also use the top-right options on the embed card to edit or remove it later.

Things to note

  • Embed cards are full width by default and cannot be resized. You can only adjust the height.
  • You can include custom HTML elements like headings. For example: <h1>Hello world</h1>
