How to embed Bluesky posts

Step-by-step guide on how to embed Bluesky posts on your Linkie page

You can add a Bluesky post to your Linkie page by copying its embed code and pasting it into an HTML Code embed card.

Add an embed card

Go to your Linkie dashboard and click Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose the embed option

Choose Add an embed from the available card options.

Select HTML Code

Click HTML Code.

Open the Bluesky embed option

Open the Bluesky post you want to embed. Click the three dots in the bottom-right corner of the post, then select Embed.

Copy the embed code

Click Copy Code to copy the post's HTML embed code.

Paste the code in Linkie

Go back to Linkie and paste the embed code into the HTML Code field. You can also add an optional title for tracking analytics.

When embedding with HTML, avoid using event attributes like onclick, because they rely on JavaScript, which many platforms block for security reasons.

Click Preview at the top right of the playground to see how the Bluesky post will look on your Linkie page.

Things to note

  • Embed cards are full width by default and cannot be resized, but the height can be adjusted.
  • You can edit the embedded post from the top-right corner of the card or remove it by clicking the bin icon.
  • You can include custom HTML elements like headings. For example: <h1>Hello world</h1>.
