How to add website links to Linkie

You can add website links to your Linkie to share blog posts, products, announcements, or any other important page with your audience.

To add a website link:

Go to your Linkie dashboard.
Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add a website link from the options.

Copy the link you want to add (e.g. your blog, store product, social post, landing page).

Keep in mind, if you add a social post as a website link, you won’t be able to change the redirect URL. However, you can customize the icon and add a button, which is not possible when using the “Add a social post” option. Learn how to add social posts to your Linkie here .

Go back to Linkie, paste the website URL and click on Add Link.

Linkie will automatically generate a preview with the title, image, and description. The default layout will be a full-size rectangle.

Layout Options

After adding your link, you can choose a layout style and customize it to match your Linkie.

Small Icon

You can only view and edit the icon of the website.
Hover over the picture, click on the camera icon and select a new picture.

Preview the link.

Horizontal Rectangle

A wider card layout that shows the title and includes the website icon.

You can edit both the icon and the title.
To change the icon, hover over the image, click the camera icon, and upload a new one.
To edit the title, simply click on it and start typing.

You can also preview how the link will appear.

Small Square

A compact card with the website thumbnail, title and CTA button.

You can edit the icon, title and CTA button.
To change the icon, hover over the image, click the camera icon, and upload a new one.
To edit the title or add a CTA button, just click on the text or button area and start typing.

You can also preview how the link will appear.

Full-Size Rectangle

Great for featured links, with full-size image, title, and description.

You can edit the icon, thumbnail, title and CTA button.
To change the icon or the thumbnail of the link, hover over the image, click the camera icon, and upload a new one.
To edit the title or add a CTA button, just click on the text or button area and start typing.

You can also preview how the link will appear.

Keep in mind:

You won't be able to set a custom redirect URL for website links. The link will always open the original link.
You can edit the thumbnail, title, and icon of the website/post.
Website cards cannot be resized. You can only choose one of the 4 available layout options.
Keep in mind, the icon on the top left side, will always match the social network's icon and cannot be changed.
You can add a custom CTA button to website links.
