How to switch between 2 and 3 columns

Step-by-step guide on how to switch between 2 and 3 columns

You can change your Linkie profile layout between 2 columns and 3 columns. This helps you control how your cards are arranged, especially when you want a more compact or wider layout.

Open the playground

Go to the playground. Make sure you are editing the Linkie profile you want to customize.

Find the columns control on desktop

On desktop, the Columns control appears on the right side of the playground.

Use the 2 and 3 buttons to choose how many columns your Linkie profile should use.

Switch columns on mobile

On mobile, the columns control appears as a small layout button instead of the full Columns panel.

Tap the layout button to open the column options, then choose 2 or 3.

Choose 2 columns

Choose 2 if you want larger cards and a more spacious layout. This is useful when your profile has fewer cards or when you want each card to stand out more.

Choose 3 columns

Choose 3 if you want to show more cards in the same space. This is useful when your profile has many cards and you want visitors to scan more content at once.

Check your layout

After selecting 2 or 3, the layout updates directly in the playground.

If the layout feels too crowded, switch back to 2 columns. If you want to show more cards at once, try 3 columns.

Don't forget to hit Save to save the changes.

Things to note

  • The columns control changes how cards are arranged on your Linkie profile.
  • On desktop, use the Columns panel on the right side of the playground.
