How to add a sticky banner

Step-by-step guide on how to add a banner to your Linkie profile

Add a banner when you want to highlight an announcement, promotion, update, or important message at the top of your Linkie profile.

Open the playground

Go to the playground. At the top of your Linkie profile, you will see the Add Banner input.

Type your banner text

Click the Add Banner input and start typing the message you want visitors to see. Once you begin filling it in, you will notice the accent color applying to it.

Keep the message short and clear so visitors can understand it quickly. For example, you can use a banner to share a discount, event update, launch announcement, or important notice.

Add an optional link

You can also add a link to your banner. When a link is added, visitors can click the banner and Linkie will forward them to that URL.

The link itself will not be visible on the banner. It only adds a click action, so the banner still displays your message while opening the linked page when clicked.

Preview your banner

Click Preview at the top right of the playground to see how the banner will look on your Linkie profile.

If the banner text is too long, go back to the playground and shorten it so it is easier to read.

Things to note

• The banner appears at the top of your Linkie profile.
• The banner is created as soon as you start typing in the Add Banner input.
• Adding a link is optional.
• If you add a link, visitors can click the banner to open it, but the URL will not be shown on the banner.
