How to show or hide social icons

Step-by-step guide on how to show or hide social icons

You can choose whether social icons appear on your Linkie profile. These icons show at the top-left of social post cards and help visitors quickly recognize where each post comes from. The same setting is also available when your Linkie profile has an automated posts section.

Open the playground

Go to the playground. Make sure you are editing the Linkie profile you want to customize.

Find the social icons control on desktop

On desktop, the Social Icons control appears on the right side of the playground, alongside other customization options such as Columns, Accent Color, and Appearance.

Use this control to choose whether social icons should be shown or hidden on your Linkie profile. If your profile has an automated posts section, this toggle also controls the social icons shown there.

Change social icons on mobile

On mobile, the social icons control appears as a small grid button instead of the full Social Icons panel.

Tap the social icons button to switch between showing and hiding social icons.

Show social icons

Choose Show if you want visitors to see the social network icon at the top-left of each social post card or automated post.

This is useful when your profile includes posts from different platforms and you want visitors to recognize the source quickly.

Hide social icons

Choose Hide if you want a cleaner card layout without the social network icon.

This can make your Linkie profile feel more minimal, especially if your cards already make the source clear through the title, thumbnail, or caption.

Compare shown and hidden social icons

Use the image above to compare how your Linkie profile looks with social icons shown and hidden.

Check your profile

After choosing Show or Hide, the change updates directly in the playground.

Click Preview at the top right of the playground to see how it will look on your Linkie profile.

Click Save at the top right of the page to save your changes.

Things to note

• The social icons control changes whether social network icons appear on social post cards and automated posts.
• Social icons appear at the top-left of the post card or automated post when enabled.
• On desktop, use the Social Icons panel on the right side of the playground.
• On mobile, tap the social icons button to switch the setting.
• You must click Save at the top right of the page for the change to apply.
• Hiding social icons does not remove or change the social post itself.
