You can easily update your username directly from your Linkie dashboard.

To change the username:

Click on your link at the top right corner of the screen.
A drop-down menu will appear.
From the drop-down menu, select Settings.

In the settings menu, choose Domain settings.

In the Free Domain section, click on the link linkie.bio/ and type your new username directly after the slash /.

After editing the username, click Save.
Once you receive the success message, close the tab by clicking the X at the top right.

You’ll now see your updated username reflected at the top left corner of your screen. Finally, click Save on your Linkie to confirm the changes.

Keep in mind:

The username is required even if you're just using the Playground and don't have an account.

How to connect a custom domain

Using a custom domain for your Linkie makes your brand look more professional. Instead of using a generic link e.g; linkie.bio/examplename, you can have something like www.yourbrand.com, making it more recognizable and personal to your audience.

To change/edit domain settings:

Click on your link at the top right corner of the screen.
A drop-down menu will appear.
From the drop-down menu, select Settings.

In Domain settings, you can customize your Linkie page URL in two ways:

Use Linkie’s free domain:

Change your username to create a personalized link like linkie.bio/yourname. Learn more about it here.

Connect your own custom domain:

Use a domain you already own like www.yourwebsite.com to give your Linkie page a more professional and branded look.

To connect a custom domain:

Type your domain name (e.g., www.yourbrand.com) into the field.
Click on Save. The status should say Pending. To make it go live, you need to set the DNS records.

Linkie is a link in bio tool that lets you create a single page to share all your important links in one place.

To create a Linkie account:

Go to Linkie.
You can preview your personalized link in bio on the Playground without creating an account.
Type in your username and click on Claim your Linkie

Click on Preview to view how the website looks. If you need to Save your website you need to sign up for an account.

If you already have a Linkie account you can log in. If not, click on Register.

Type your username and email address.

You will receive a confirmation code on the email address you provided.

How to embed Google Maps location

You can embed Google Maps locations in two ways:

Copy URL from the location.
Copy the embed HTML code from Google Maps.

To embed Google Maps locations via URL:

Go to your Linkie dashboard.
Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add an embed from the cards.

Click on Paste URL.

To find the URL of the location, you can go to Google Maps and click on Share.
From there choose Send a Link.
Click on Copy link, then paste it into your browser to get the full post URL. Make sure you copy the full link, since shortened links won’t work because they don’t include the full location.

After pasting the URL from Google Maps, click on Add embed.

A custom feature is the "Get directions" button, which takes users directly to the location on Google Maps when clicked.

How to customize the invitation text

Accepted Answer

You can customize the invitation message sent to your email subscribers to match your brand and style.

To customize the invitation text:

Firstly, click on Collect Emails.

Then, toggle on Enable email subscribers.

Write your invitation message in the text box. This is what visitors will see when asked to subscribe.

Click Save to apply the changes.
To view what your email subscribers will see, click the Preview button.

Then, click the bell icon to view your invitation text.

You’ll now see a preview of the exact text your subscribers will receive.
