You can only embed Mastodon posts through HTML code.

To embed Mastodon posts:

Go to your Linkie dashboard.
Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add an embed from the cards.

Click on HTML Code.

Go to the Mastodon post you want to embed, click the three dots in the bottom-right corner of the post, and select  Get embed code.

Click on Copy to clipboard to copy the HTML code.

Go back to Linkie and paste the embedded code.

||| When embedding with HTML, avoid using event attributes like "onclick", because they rely on JavaScript, which many platforms block for security reasons.

Preview it by clicking Preview on the top right corner.
You can always **edit **on the top

How to add website links to Linkie

Accepted Answer

You can add website links to your Linkie to share blog posts, products, announcements, or any other important page with your audience.

To add a website link:

Go to your Linkie dashboard.
Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add a website link from the options.

Copy the link you want to add (e.g. your blog, store product, social post, landing page).

||| Keep in mind, if you add a social post as a website link, you won’t be able to change the redirect URL. However, you can customize the icon and add a button, which is not possible when using the “Add a social post” option. Learn how to add social posts to your Linkie here .

Go back to Linkie, paste the website URL and click on Add Link.

Linkie will automatically generate a preview with the title, image, and description. The default layout will be a full-size rectangle.

How to embed Cal.com calendar/link to Linkie

With a Calendly link you can show your availability and allow visitors to book calls, events, meetings, and more in just a few clicks from your Linkie.

You can embed Cal.com link/calendar in two ways:

Copy URL from the post.
Copy the embed HTML code from Cal.com.

To embed Cal.com link via URL:

Go to your Linkie dashboard.
Press on Click to add link, post, embed, etc.

Choose Add an embed from the cards.

Click on Paste URL.

To find the URL of the Cal.com meeting, you can go to Cal.com , find the meeting and click on Copy link to event.

After pasting the URL from Cal.com, click on Add embed.

You can always **edit **on the top right corner or remove the embedded post from your Linkie by clicking the bin icon.

How to connect a custom domain

Using a custom domain for your Linkie makes your brand look more professional. Instead of using a generic link e.g; linkie.bio/examplename, you can have something like www.yourbrand.com, making it more recognizable and personal to your audience.

To change/edit domain settings:

Click on your link at the top right corner of the screen.
A drop-down menu will appear.
From the drop-down menu, select Settings.

In Domain settings, you can customize your Linkie page URL in two ways:

Use Linkie’s free domain:

Change your username to create a personalized link like linkie.bio/yourname. Learn more about it here.

Connect your own custom domain:

Use a domain you already own like www.yourwebsite.com to give your Linkie page a more professional and branded look.

To connect a custom domain:

Type your domain name (e.g., www.yourbrand.com) into the field.
Click on Save. The status should say Pending. To make it go live, you need to set the DNS records.

How to edit/change your username

You can easily update your username directly from your Linkie dashboard.

To change the username:

Click on your link at the top right corner of the screen.
A drop-down menu will appear.
From the drop-down menu, select Settings.

In the settings menu, choose Domain settings.

In the Free Domain section, click on the link linkie.bio/ and type your new username directly after the slash /.

After editing the username, click Save.
Once you receive the success message, close the tab by clicking the X at the top right.

You’ll now see your updated username reflected at the top left corner of your screen. Finally, click Save on your Linkie to confirm the changes.

Keep in mind:

The username is required even if you're just using the Playground and don't have an account.

How to subscribe to a Linkie account

You can subscribe to a Linkie account by following the steps below.

To subscribe to a Linkie account:

Visit the Linkie account you want to subscribe to.
Click the bell icon at the top left corner of the page.

Enter your email and toggle on "I agree to receive emails from account name."

Click on Subscribe.
You’ll receive a 6-digit verification code via email to confirm your subscription.

After pasting the code, click on Confirm.

Your email will automatically show up on the collected emails, if the user has connected a Google Sheets spreadsheet to Linkie.
