How to mark a Linkie page as private

Step-by-step guide on how to mark a Linkie page as private

You can mark a Linkie page as private from its Danger Zone settings. A private page is hidden from everyone, including people with a direct link and people searching on Google.

Open the page settings

Go to the playground. In the top-left corner, click the down arrow next to your current Linkie page.

All Linkie pages connected to your account will appear in the dropdown. Switch to the Linkie page you want to mark as private, then open that page's settings.

Open Danger Zone

In the settings menu, click Danger Zone.

The Danger Zone tab appears after Site settings, Domain, and Subscription.

Mark your page as private

In the Hide page section, click Hide page.

In the confirmation popup, review what happens when you hide your page. Tick I confirm hiding my Linkie page., then click Hide this page.

This makes your Linkie page private to everyone, whether they visit it through a direct link or find it on Google.

Things to note

  • Marking a page as private hides that Linkie page from visitors.
  • People with a direct link will not be able to view the hidden page.
  • The hidden page will not be publicly searchable on Google.
  • Hiding a page does not delete the page or its data.
  • Make sure you are switched to the Linkie page you want to edit before opening Danger Zone.
