How to change/edit my website settings
You can easily update your website settings like the title, description, favicon, social image, and domain. This helps you customize your Linkie.bio page to match your brand and improve visibility.
To change the website settings:
- Click on your link at the top right corner of the screen.
- A drop-down menu will appear.
- From the drop-down menu, select Settings.
- Choose Site Settings from the two options.
- In Site Settings, you can edit the meta tags like: Site Title, Site Description, the Favicon (the icon that appears on the browser) and Social Image.
- To choose whether your page appears on search engines like Google, just toggle on Show page in search engines.
- If you leave this option unselected, your website won't show up on the search results.
Site Title:
This is the name that shows up at the top of your Linkie page and on the browser tab. By default the title will be "Linkie - Your Ultimate Link In Bio", but you can change it to match your website.
Site Description:
The site description is a short sentence that tells visitors what your page is about. You can update it with more context or instructions for your audience.
Favicon:
A tiny icon that shows up in the browser tab next to your page title. As a default favicon we use the linkie.bio icon.
- You can change it by hovering over it and uploading your own image. Make sure it's 32x32 pixels and in ICO, PNG, GIF, or JPG format.
Social Image:
This is the image that appears when you share your Linkie page.
- By default, we use your Linkie profile picture as the social image.
- If you need to change it, you can hover over it and upload your own image. The recommended size is 1200x630 pixels.
- You'll get a success message once you Save the changes.
- You can also change the Domain Settings.
- You can either change your username on the free domain we provide
linkie.bio/examplename
, or connect a custom domain you own. Learn more about it here.
- Finally, click Save on your Linkie to confirm the changes.
