# How to hide or unhide a Linkie page

###### **Step-by-step guide on how to hide or unhide a Linkie page.**

You can hide a Linkie page when you do not want it to appear publicly, then unhide it later from the same settings area.

||| Hiding a Linkie page does not delete it. The page and its related data are securely stored, the username stays reserved, and you can unhide the page at any time.

### Open the page settings

Go to the [playground](https://app.linkie.bio/playground). In the top-left corner, click the dropdown next to your Linkie page URL.

All Linkie pages connected to your account will appear in the dropdown. Click the **Settings** icon for the Linkie page you want to hide or unhide.

The settings window will open for that Linkie page.

### Open Danger Zone

In the settings window, click **Danger Zone**.

The **Hide page** section appears at the top of the **Danger Zone** tab.

Click **Hide page**.

A confirmation dialog will appear. Review what happens when you hide the page:

* This page and related data will be securely stored.
* This page will no longer show up on search results.
* The username cannot be claimed by someone else.
* You can revert this action at any time.

Tick **I confirm hiding my Linkie page.**, then click **Hide this page**.

### Unhide a Linkie page

To unhide a page, open the same Linkie page settings from the [playground](https://app.linkie.bio/playground), then go to **Danger Zone**.

In the **Hide page** section, click **Unhide page** to make the page public again.

### What happens when a page is hidden

When a Linkie page is hidden, it is no longer publicly visible and will no longer appear in search results. If someone visits the hidden Linkie page URL directly, Linkie will show `This Linkie does not exist!`.

The page is not deleted. Its data stays securely stored, and its username remains reserved so someone else cannot claim it.

### Things to note

* You can hide and unhide a Linkie page from **Danger Zone**.
* Hiding a page does not delete the page or its data.
* Hidden pages no longer appear in search results.
* Visitors who open a hidden Linkie page URL will see `This Linkie does not exist!`.
* The hidden page's username stays reserved.
* Make sure you click the **Settings** icon for the correct Linkie page before changing its visibility.
